Professional Pet Groomers and Stylist Alliance (PPGSA).
The PPGSA is a coalition of industry organizations and trade associations whose members have decades of hands-on experience educating, training and certifying tens of thousands of professional Pet Groomers across the country. These organizations meet and have create national standards for pet professionals for the entire industry to follow.
National Alliance of Grooming Associations (NAGA)
The National Alliance of Grooming Associations recently formed to help build a network of state grooming associations to advance the Professional Pet Grooming Industry by sharing industry knowledge and help with public advocacy.
International Society of Canine Cosmetologists (ISCC)
Founded by Pam Lauritzen over 30 years ago, ISCC has dedicated itself to creating one of the most comprehensive international certification programs for Pet Grooming Professionals. The organization focuses on the latest trends, innovations and techniques in the industry.
National Dog Grooming Association of America (NDGAA)
Established in 1969, NDGAA is a national, professional organization that has set canine grooming guidelines and standards for the Professional Pet Grooming Industry. This organization offers several nationally recognized skill-based certification programs. In addition, it holds several grooming competitions throughout the year.
International Professional Groomers, Inc. (IPG)
The IPG is an international, professional organization that has set canine grooming guidelines and standards for the Professional Pet Grooming Industry. This organization educates, certifies and accredits professional pet groomers and caretakers in 32 countries. This organization has an extensive collection of various certification programs at all levels of professional experience.
American Professional Pet Groomers Association (APPGA)
In 2017 this group was formed to create health care benefits for the pet professional grooming industry in the United States.
