IPPGA Mission
We strive to provide information so that every member treats all animals entrusted to their care with patience and compassion, ensuring its safety, health and well-being. Each member is held to a Code of Ethics in which professional behavior is paramount and each member maintains their businesses with transparency, compassion and integrity toward their clients at all times while encouraging participation in continuing education within the industry.
We ask all IPPGA members abide by the Illinois Best Practices and Pandemic Protocol Guidelines , the IPPGA Code of Ethics and the National Standards of Sanitation and Safety adopted by the Professional Pet Groomers and Stylist Alliance National Standards of Safety, Care, and Sanitation (PPGSA). PPGSA is a coalition of industry organizations and trade associations whose members have decades of hands-on experience educating, training and certifying tens of thousands of professional Pet Groomers across the country.
